A free series of four workshops for teenagers in Townsville to learn the rich and wonderful art of belly dance from myself and Cara Griffin. Workshops will run January 3, 10, 12 & 17 from 1-2pm at BFitt. Bookings via this jotform.
SUMMER TECHNIQUE INTENSIVE FOR BELLY DANCERS
These bootcamp style workshops are designed to get you through the lethargy of heat and indulgence of the Christmas break and prepare you for a new year. They will focus on improving technique, stamina and confidence and are suitable for dancers who have already done some belly dance. Book via this link.
2024 TERM 1 BELLY DANCE CLASSES
These classes are run via the Global Dance Collective and bookings can be made through them. They begin the week of January 22nd 2024 and will run for 10 weeks.

SYNTHESIS FUSION BELLY DANCE WEEKEND (2023)
A weekend of workshops and performances hosted in Meeanjin/Brisbane, teaching and performing a unique personal style of contemporary fusion.
SAINT RESEARCH PROJECT (2023)
A RADF funded research project to create accessible repertoire whilst combining the movements from contemporary dance and transnational fusion. This project culminated in a free workshop for Townsville locals with excellent feedback and was completed at Dancenorth with their 4 walls and a floor program.
GET HOOKED WORKSHOPS WITH JESS ARDEE (2023)
Jess Ardee is one of only four Datura Style teachers in Australia and taught a series of workshops, hosted by Jordan in Townsville in 2023. The workshops culminated in Global Shimmy, a Global Dance Collective hafla.
WAMED (2018 & 2022)
A culturally sensitive, diamond quality belly dance festival held in Western Australia annually, Jordan has taught and performed fusion belly dance as well as classical raqs sharqi. See her most recent WAMED performance here.
WILD AT HEART (2022)
A community performance grant from Dancenorth Australia: GLOBAL CHAOS THE GAME. A collaboration with Cara Griffin, Alex Salvador & Rike Wolf; a game between musicians and dancers about interpreting music and movement once you guess the region of origin.
SALON LA LA(2021 & 2022)
A belly dance stage show directed by Cara Griffin and produced by Jordan Galliott. Jordan was a choreographer and cast member for this incredibly successful touring show that demonstrated the beauty and excellence of multiple styles of belly dance.
SAFETY NET (2021)
A Dancenorth community experience production in collaboration with TheatreNQ & Diffraction Collective. Jordan was one of the choreographers and rehearsal assistants.
